This past summer I had the pleasure of photographing the Bruce family again in Spring Lake, NJ. This time they were awaiting the arrival of the newest member of the family. Baby Tessa arrived in November, and I was thrilled to meet her!
This blog post has been a long time in coming. I had the honor last May of photographing my cousin Stephanie’s wedding to her now husband, William. This lovely young couple had their reception at the Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia, PA. The museum is one of the most amazing spaces to have an event in. We had the run of the entire museum while their guests enjoyed the cocktail hour downstairs. There are far more photos in this post then I would normally put up, but we had so much fun running from room to room and playing on the carousel that I just had to share!!

At the end of the summer, the Bruce family and I headed to the beach in Spring Lake, NJ for a half hour mini session. All day we were going back and forth on whether or not the weather would cooperate with us. There was a massive thunderstorm late in the afternoon, but it blew in and out and we decided to go for it. I am so glad we did, because the light and the colors were just beautiful, and the kids were so happy to be out. What an absolutely beautiful family to work with!
A year ago I photographed the wedding of my dear friends Keith & Sylvine, and now I had the joy of photographing Sylvine as she awaits the arrival of her new baby girl! I had the honor of being one of the few poeple to learn what her name will be, but replaced her name on the chalkboard and nametag in the photos until she is born. When she arrives, I will post the phots with her new name! Congratulations Keith & Sylvine!!
It’s hard to believe that just a year earlier I was photographing Jessica’s husband-to-be as he and his groomsmen were getting ready for their wedding. Earlier in the summer, Jessica and I took a stroll through Deep Cut Gardens for her maternity photos. Then, only a week and a half after her birth, I had the joy to meet little Miss Harper. What a gorgeous baby she is! She stayed awake through almost the entire session, sleeping only for about 5 minutes or so. It was so clear that she didn’t want to miss out on anything that was going on. She is an absolute love!
