A year ago I photographed the wedding of my dear friends Keith & Sylvine, and now I had the joy of photographing Sylvine as she awaits the arrival of her new baby girl! I had the honor of being one of the few poeple to learn what her name will be, but replaced her name on the chalkboard and nametag in the photos until she is born. When she arrives, I will post the phots with her new name! Congratulations Keith & Sylvine!!
It’s hard to believe that just a year earlier I was photographing Jessica’s husband-to-be as he and his groomsmen were getting ready for their wedding. Earlier in the summer, Jessica and I took a stroll through Deep Cut Gardens for her maternity photos. Then, only a week and a half after her birth, I had the joy to meet little Miss Harper. What a gorgeous baby she is! She stayed awake through almost the entire session, sleeping only for about 5 minutes or so. It was so clear that she didn’t want to miss out on anything that was going on. She is an absolute love!
Early this summer I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Jessica, my son’s former kindergarten teacher, as she awaited the arrival of her beautiful baby. At the time, she and her husband had no idea whether they were having a boy or a girl. They both chose to be surprised, even though friends and family were dying to know! As it turns out, they had a beautiful baby girl! I could not be happier for them! That little girl has two of the sweetest parents I have ever known, and an extensive family that will shower her with nothing but love and affection.
Over the summer, my amazing Zumba teacher and I took a trek to a little alley in Long Branch for a quick headhsot session. I’ve always loved the artwork on the walls, and I thought it would be the perfect place for the two of us to play around. Here are a few of the results. We both had a blast!
I had the absolute pleasure of photographing my dear friend Carey and her gorgeous family over Christmas this past year (yes I know, this blog post is far overdue!) We all met at her sister Kathleen’s house in Philadelphia, and had an absolute blast playing in and around her yard. We never took ourselves quite too seriously, and while we got some stunning portraits, we had a ton of shots with everyone goofing off just a bit. It’s no wonder I love the Cannon family.
